This weeks inspiration is my Mom. I love my mom just as much as I love my dad. My mom pushes me to go after things that I know I have to work hard for. If there is one thing that I take from my mom, it is hardwork and focus will take you far in life. I admire my mom’s bluntness because she is not afriad to keep it 100 with anyone. No one cannot tell me anything about my Mom. I know who she is and what she is capable of doing. Hence no one can try to persuade me differently.
My Inspiration for this week is my Dad. He was always been my #1 supporter besides my Mom. My Father has always encouraged me to go after things that I know that I want in life. Also he pushes me to be my best. My Dad is one of the reasons why I am really focused at school. If there’s one thing my dad molds into my head, it is my education. He’s always preached to me that its something no one can take away from and it never stops. I love my dad so much. No can’t tell me anything about him!
This is my favorite mannequin from the 70’s display exhibit from FIT. I like how the dress is wrapped onto the mannequin. The dress looks like it is made with sheer and other similar fabrics. This piece represents the 70’s by the way how the silhouette of the dress is on the mannequin. It is loose on the arms and at the bottom. Kinda in a funky way.
This was my favorite window display from the Macy’s Flower Show. I like this display because of how the mannequins are arranged. Also I like how the floral background finishes off with the entire show case. Based on this show case, I think the hardest thing to install in this display was the drapes and the floral arrangements. If there was one thing I can assume what the designers had problems with was the way the flowers were arranged. I’m pretty sure that they arranged the flowers so many times until it looked the way it does right now.
The painting above is kind of similar to the floral display from Macy’s. The whole inspiration from the Macy’s was from Edgar Degas. He is know for painting Ballerina’s. He is known for impressionism, modern art, pastel art, and realism. More Specifically, the window display created by Macy’s is based off of realism art.
